Description
DONGWON Dried Anchovy (Medium Size) is commonly used in Korean cooking for making stir-fried anchovy side dishes known as myeolchi bokkeum. The medium size, often called “Gairi,” provides the ideal balance of texture and flavour for sweet and savoury braised anchovy dishes.
These anchovies offer deep seafood umami and become deliciously crispy when lightly toasted before cooking. They are a staple ingredient in Korean kitchens and can also be used to enhance soups, broths, and various traditional dishes.
