Refund & Return Policy

Return Window
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery only for items that are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.
Due to the nature of food products, change-of-mind returns are not accepted for food items.

At ASIANFOODNZ LIMITED, we comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) to ensure your rights as a customer.
We guarantee refunds or replacements only for items that are faulty, damaged, or incorrect on arrival, in accordance with the CGA.

Change of Mind Returns
If you wish to return a product for reasons other than damage or defect, we may accept the return at our discretion under the following conditions:

  • The request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • A 10% restocking fee may apply.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

Food, chilled, frozen, and perishable items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us at support@asianfoodnz.com with clear photos within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost, depending on stock availability and the nature of the issue.

Proxy Purchase Orders (구매대행 주문)

For items ordered through our Proxy Purchase Service, AsianFoodNZ acts solely as a purchasing agent on behalf of customers.
Refunds, cancellations, and product-related issues are subject to the original seller’s policies in the country of purchase.
AsianFoodNZ is not responsible for product quality issues, defects, or delivery delays caused by overseas sellers or international shipping carriers.
GST applies only to the service fee for proxy purchases and not to the product value itself.

Final Sale Items
For health and safety reasons, the following items are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty, as required under the CGA:

  • Chilled and frozen products
  • Lunch boxes and kimbap
  • Perishable foods requiring refrigeration
