Letโs Make Korean Glass Noodles!
Japchae (์ก์ฑ) is a savory and slightly sweet dish made with glass noodles (dangmyeon), colorful vegetables, and seasoned soy sauce. Perfect for parties or everyday meals!
๐ Ingredients
- 100g sweet potato glass noodles (dangmyeon)
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup spinach, blanched
- 100g beef or mushrooms (optional)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

- Soak glass noodles in warm water for 30 minutes or boil until soft.
- Stir-fry vegetables and beef/mushrooms separately with a little oil and salt.
- In a large pan, stir-fry softened noodles with soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
- Mix everything together and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
