The Perfect Night In: Face Masks, Friendship & a Movie

A cosy blanket, a favourite film and a friend who has exactly the same idea. Our first AsianFood Stories comic celebrates a simple pleasure: making time for each other.

When Friends Have the Same Idea

“Fancy a night in?” One question is all it takes. Before long, two friends have their evening sorted: face masks, a movie and the blankets to match.

There is no complicated plan or special occasion. Just an ordinary evening made a little more memorable by sharing it with someone who gets you.

The Meaning Behind the Story: 의기투합

The Korean expression 의기투합 (uigituhap) describes people coming together with a shared intention or enthusiasm. In this story, it is that lovely moment when you suggest a plan and your friend says, “I was just thinking that!”

Sometimes, being on the same wavelength is as simple as agreeing that a quiet night together sounds perfect.

Featured in the Comic

The friends’ pick is the LEBELAGE Pomegranate Solution Mask Pack, a Korean sheet mask for moisturising and skin-conditioning care. Each set includes 10 individually packed masks, with 25g per sheet.

Keep a few ready for your next evening at home, or share the pack with a friend. Follow the directions on the packaging, then settle in and enjoy the company.
