Shipping Information

AsianFood.nz provides fast and reliable delivery services throughout New Zealand. Shipping fees are calculated automatically based on the delivery region, total order weight, and parcel size. The final shipping fee will be displayed at checkout.

Auckland

• Standard Shipping: $8.99
• Free Shipping: On orders of $99 or more
• Delivery Time: Orders placed before 12:00 PM on business days are dispatched the same day and are expected to be delivered the next business day.

North Island – Zone 1

Waikato

• Standard Shipping: From $12.99
• Free Shipping: On orders of $150 or more
• Delivery Time: Orders placed before 12:00 PM on business days are dispatched the same day and are expected to be delivered the next business day.

North Island – Zone 2

Northland, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Manawatū-Whanganui and Wellington

• Standard Shipping: From $14.99
• Free Shipping: On orders of $200 or more
• Delivery Time: Orders placed before 12:00 PM on business days are dispatched the same day and are expected to be delivered the next business day.

South Island

• Standard Shipping: From $22.99 for orders weighing 0–3kg
• Delivery Time: Orders placed before 12:00 PM on business days are dispatched the same day and are expected to be delivered within 3 business days.
• Shipping fees increase according to the total order weight and parcel size.

Rural & Island Deliveries

This includes Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island, Stewart Island, Chatham Islands, Kawau Island, and other Rural Delivery (RD) addresses.

• Shipping fees and delivery times may vary depending on the destination, total weight, and parcel size.
• Please select the Rural Shipping option at checkout when ordering to a rural address.
• If you are unsure whether your address is classified as rural, please contact us before placing your order.

Chilled, Frozen & Fresh Food

• Standard regional shipping rates apply.
• Temperature-sensitive products such as meat and dumplings are securely packed in insulated polystyrene boxes with ice gel packs. Other chilled and frozen products are also shipped using appropriate insulated packaging.
• Some kimchi products may be shipped in standard packaging. Natural fermentation may continue during transit; however, this does not affect the product's quality.
• Fresh food cannot be shipped to the South Island.

Shipped from Korea Products

Products marked “Shipped from Korea” are dispatched directly from Korea and are processed through our purchasing service.

• Product preparation in Korea: 2–3 business days
• International shipping (Korea → New Zealand): 3–7 business days
• Customs clearance and domestic delivery: 1–3 business days
• Total Estimated Delivery Time: Approximately 7–12 business days after order confirmation
• Once your parcel is dispatched from Auckland, tracking information will be provided by email.

Important Information for Shipped from Korea Products

• Due to different delivery schedules, products marked “Shipped from Korea” cannot be ordered together with regular products.
• Each order must be placed separately.
• For customs clearance, the recipient information must exactly match the information provided with the order.

• Orders placed before 12:00 PM on business days are processed for same-day dispatch. Tracking information will be sent by email after dispatch.
• All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
• Heavy or bulky orders may incur additional shipping charges even when the order meets the free-shipping threshold.
